strategy cycle at the end of the 90 day

or quarterly cycle we take the

information over the course of time and

we look at how well we have done over

the course of the 90 days and are we

trending in the right direction? are

there gaps in the way where we’re

trending? and are we really behind? and we

begin to look at that information

sometimes what I found is when we’re if

we’re red in some things at that end of

the 90-day cycle we may ask ourselves

did we make the right decision? did we

choose the right thing? did we execute it

well? or did we not execute it well? or do

we really need to make an adjustment

because what we thought at the beginning

of the 90 days just it really didn’t pan

out to what we thought it would be and

those adjustments need to be made in

order to help us move forward in the

next 90 days the conversation becomes

very focused very meaningful and it also

allows us as leaders to have the right

conversations with our teams so that

they understand where the organization

is going and most importantly how they

fit into the direction of the

organization and how their work becomes

meaningful so why do we do this

disciplined focused process? because at

the end of the day we want to help the

people who work with us know that their

work is meaningful has purpose and it’s

worthwhile and that they’re part of our

team helping us achieve the results that

matter so that we can serve the people

that we serve in the best way
