Using a Communication Board
A communication board is a fun, visual way to keep your organization up-to-date on relevant information. It is important for leaders to spread messages in a timely and consistent manner for their stakeholders. Establishing aligned and accurate organization-wide communication builds trust, transparency and connects the dots to heighten employee engagement.
In addition to internal updates, it’s helpful for a communication board to include information on the external environment, the changes that are being made to respond to it and relevant articles. If you have more than one area or department in your organization, we suggest placing a board in each area so all employees will have the opportunity to utilize it.
Your organization can embrace technology and use an electronic board such as a TV or screen which can feature scrolling information and be easily edited. You may also decide a simple white-board or bulletin board is all that is necessary.
