The Medium is the Message
There is more to communication than the words we speak or write. Messages perceived by the audience are affected by the medium used to send the communication, and how the communicator chooses to frame that information. Leaders are responsible for a multitude of messages to internal and external groups across an organization. The more aware we are of the influences of the medium and the words we choose, the more effectively we will be able to communicate information to our employees, customers, and leaders.
