Job Title: Content Developer

Department: Education

Report to: Senior Director

Job Location: Pensacola, Florida  


Desired Outcomes:

  • Increased growth for service lines to achieve annual goals
  • Increased growth in new service line- products with a focus on pulling in participants to the BD funnel
  • Develop content for new products that are considered excellent by market standards
  • Maintain high quality ratings on presentations (online and face-to-face) – 70% of ratings rated at level 5

How the job relates to the direction of the organization/department/support service unit:

The Content Developer will work in the Education division across all departments to create new product lines; Assist with marketing efforts, face-to-face delivery of content and support the events team as needed to align relevant content with core branding and marketing efforts; Provide training and support to the education division team in use of social media and web content.


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Create engaging online content, content for face to face delivery and content for blended delivery for leaders
  • Create a content plan and develop content for social and digital media posts
  • Assist with the delivery of face-to-face and online content and program delivery
  • Provide team leadership to design and deliver an innovative and digital publishing arm
  • Assist with implementation of a system to create efficiencies in updating and maintaining web/digital content
  • Enhance the brand reputation using a valuable marketing content (pull approach) to increase the number of active participants in the Business Development pipeline.
  • Leverage results to support research and development in the form of publications, case studies, white papers
  • Assist with the research and development efforts to perform organizational/needs assessments and solutions to clients
  • Engage with program clients and stakeholders to offer a quality education experience
  • Participate with various teams to plan strategically, create action plans, monitor implementation of project plans, achieve operational objectives by contributing information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; preparing and completing action plans; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; identifying trends; determining system improvements; implementing change
  • Work collaboratively with the Specialist in product development projects as needed
  • Assist with marketing efforts to grow the division
  • Provide support to events team as needed to align relevant content with core branding and marketing efforts
  • Provide training and support to the division team in use of social media and web content
  • Resolve operational problems and identify work process improvements

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Master’s degree in education or other related fields
  • Excellent research and writing skills
  • Excellent technology skills; comfortable with different applications
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Excellent verbal / written communication skills; proficient in the English language
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Excellent management skills demonstrated, experience preferred
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills essential
  • Flexible; able to handle multiple duties simultaneously with a high degree of accuracy; demonstrated resourcefulness in setting priorities and guiding investment in people and processes
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment with ability to identify solutions and achieve results
