“Good communication is the bridge between clarity and confusion.” The words of Nat Turner challenge leaders to be the bridge to clarity and not confusion in what we say and in what we write. A lack of clear communication or communication that is executed poorly can be highly detrimental. Miscommunication creates misunderstanding, confusion, and uncertainty. It can also erode people’s trust in the organization. Clear and effective communication, on the other hand, is the glue that can help keep relationships strong and our people aligned, working together toward what we aim to accomplish. The Execution Triangle is a framework that can help us build clearer, better communication in our organizations, taking us closer to the outcomes we desire.
