How do I get parents to take the survey?
Sample Parent Satisfaction Survey Invitation
It is the responsibility of the executive leader to communicate expectations for the survey administration process. The executive leader is encouraged to introduce the survey process as a continuous improvement practice. The executive leader should send an invitation to participate in the survey for each survey administration. Ownership of this communication by the executive leader creates consistency, reinforces the importance of the process, and encourages participation. School leaders should then send an invitation to parents to ask for and encourage survey participation.
The first sample communication below explains the survey process to school leaders. The second sample communication invites parents to complete the survey. Both messages contain information about the time required to complete the survey, when the survey will open and close, and how to access the survey. Leaders may alter this message to best fit communication style and needs.
