if you think about aligning behaviors
and goals you think me and that’s really
a structured process of which it is but
when we think about it think about what
they talk about with the elephant and
the writer so they so if we’re thinking
about an elephant and so and a writer
writing the elephant and let’s say they
got into an altercation who would win
the elephant and the writer the elephant
right and so the elephant represents the
emotional side of the world and the
writer represents the rational
so although aligned behaviors and goals
are very much a rational part of the
work that we do there’s the thing called
values that connect the emotional and so
if we align behaviors and goals without
the emotional then we’re probably not
going to get the leverage of the work in
order to produce where to go where we
want to go
