It can’t be true. I’ve worked so hard. I’ve done everything they’ve asked me to do. This is where most of us begin our thinking when we receive data that may challenge our sense of self. Denying the data is a very human response. It’s not a response we want to rest in for very long. When we get results, particularly survey results, the goal is to move from data to solutions as quickly as possible.
